The 2013–2014 surge
A close reading of dated works and archive connections across 2013 and 2014.
Archive boundary
The current data contains 63 artwork records dated 2013 or 2014, all with `location: Istanbul`: 34 in 2013 and 29 in 2014. “Surge” is an editorial description of date density, not a term supplied by the records and not an explanation of why the count is high.
Those 63 records carry overlapping collection memberships: Geometrica (20), Monochrome (20), Mythos (12), Beyond (12), Universal Transmissions (6), Sacred Geometry (5), and Esoterica (2). The figures count memberships, so they do not define mutually exclusive groups.
2013: threshold, encounter, and pattern
Serpentine Apotheosis, dated January 7, describes a changeover from traditional media into digital work and connects the image to visions experienced over several years. Copelandian Paradigm, dated June 15, describes visions and experiences with Copelandia Cyanescens mushrooms and a couple of weeks of work at one or two hours per day. Holographic Mind, dated March 31, uses the hologram as a metaphor for interconnected consciousness.
The year also includes different kinds of short and long record text. Primordial Playroom, dated November 6, gives an extended account of descending through an amoeboid, octahedral gallery and encountering figures associated with the Tryptamine Hyperdimension. Syntax of Synesthesia, dated September 1, compresses its subject into a meditation on language, color, texture, taste, and meaning. The Fractal Wave, dated August 21, joins an image of a wave to writing about history and transition. Sacred (August 28) calls itself a “Zero Point” whose iterations became a recurring template for later digital work; Translinguistic Revelation (May 22) gives the compact assertion that reality's syntax is made of words. Several of these works are indexed in Mythos. The documentation ranges from visionary recollection to concise conceptual prose.
2014: sequence and expansion
Divine Yantra, dated February 3, says it was created for active meditation and while making Axis Mundi. Axis Mundi, dated February 9, describes interconnection and the expression of a message through art, music, poetry, dance, and love. The two records therefore provide a direct, declared relationship within the 2014 material.
Trancendance, a commercial record dated 2014, lists the 2013 artwork Serpentine Apotheosis among its connections. That cross-reference sits beside the direct link between Divine Yantra and Axis Mundi. Across the selected records, the date cluster holds process notes, visionary language, meditation-oriented descriptions and concise conceptual writing; it does not resolve into one narrative mode.
